Outstanding Service

The tour guide was outstanding. We were able to see all the sites in time. Thanks for safe comfortable ride.

Dermot, our tour guide, was AMAZINNNGG!!!! His knowledge, personality, sense of humor, accommodating attitude made Ireland even more of a emerald gem. The accommodations at the Ashford Castle were gorgeous, the itinerary was full and enjoyable and I highly recommend this company and working with Dermot if you are able. Thank you for a memorable and meaningful experience

Legends tour was Outstanding! Tour guide was so knowledgeable.

The Legends tour was outstanding. Tour guide Colm Murphy was excellent. History and storytelling along the route was very memorable and made the trip so worthwhile. Ireland's beauty sells itself with no words required, but Colm's words and personality still topped it!

The Tour Guide and Driver were fantastic. Unfortunately they had to put up with infirm people who should have had carers with them. Too many things were squeezed in every day. Alot we could have done without. Found Belfast gaol very depressing plus some church with bones underneath did not appeal to me. This is my personal view only. I am also a vegetarian and found most dinners did not cater for this at the hotels. Rissotto seemed to be it. Can't stand rissotto. I am not a vegetarian by choice . Hotels were lovely. As I said, Tour Guide and Driver could not be faulted for their manners and patience. ( Patrick O'Riordan and Sam Lockhart). I would definitely book again but for a longer trip next time. This is my second CIE tour.

Our tour guide and bus driver Dominick Nixon was the greatest. All accommodations were fantastic.

Failure to meet us at Glasgow Airport

Good itinerary and good guide. I would use them again. A major problem was that when we arrived late at the Glasgow airport, because of a flight delay (a flight that they booked for us), no one was at the airport to meet us or direct us to how to get to the tour. A major problem in a foreign country, especially when the hotel we were to stay in that night was in Loch Lomond, a long distance out of town, and we had no transportation.

It was a wonderful experience and so happy that I had the opportunity to go with CIE Tours... My son gave it to me as a gift and I had and once in a lifetime trip that I will never forget... Everything was so organized and the staff was amazing... Love, love, love...

Truely Memorial Tour

Two areas that were outstanding: Booking Staff and the Tour. Booking Staff; I reserved our travel for 6 people. Your staff were able to provide flight expense at a cost so reasonable we were quite surprised. All the hotels were first class, meals beyond expectations. The tour guide and there were two friendly, curious, and so very knowledgeable. They did your company proud. We will travel with you again

I booked the 14 night Jewels of Ireland tour. The booking for the trip was incredibly smooth and easy - Pick your tour, pay for it and all arrangements are done without worries of planes, hotel or transportation. Highly recommend.

Easy to work with

The representatives were knowledgeable and helpful. The driver was safe and efficient, got us places on time. The guide was knowledgeable and kept us on schedule so the stops were the appropriate length. This provided a good overview and should not be considered adequate for extensive exploration.

Have recommended them and would use again. The service was first class and the sites were very good. No time was wasted. The tour did a good job of having organized events and letting one have some leisure time to explore on our own. The accommodations were good to excellent. A couple of venues were rather noisy as wedding parties were being held and continued well into the night. The tour guides were very informed and provided excellent commentary as we motored along the routes. Special tour guides were used in the various cities.

Tour Details Explained Clearly and Completely

The CIE tour specialist clearly explained all the aspects of our Irish tour. I was confident she was truly concerned that all my questions were fully answered.

Excellent tour with great guide and content

Booking was via email and was easy to complete. I was a little disappointed that the tour changed after I had booked without anybody telling me of the change which was that the Titantic tour in Belfast had been taken out.
