Our tour guide was GREAT!! However all in the tour thought we were too far off the beaten path to get into the towns to enjoy the night life - all the hotels were lovely but way away from everything.We all would have enjoyed a longer stay in the town of Galway to really get into the flavor of the Irish culture.

Great service and trip

Easy to book and go through the different tour selection. Customer service was very quick to respond to any questions I had.

Tour guide excellent ... our only problem was with the Scott Hotel in Killarney...I had 4 rooms.. my son 25 was across from my wife and I and he had a woman his age come to his room late and a desk person for some reason followed them to room... pounded on door VERY loudly wakes all of us... Michel said she must leave... my son said ok in a few minutes and closed the door... Michel kept banging on door... he left and returned with a master key breaking in to their room. I wrote to the company owning the hotel and never even got a reply!!!

I would highly recommend cie tours to anyone looking to tour Ireland.

Everything was excellent from the hotels we stayed at to the meals and especially our tour guide and bus driver Matt Nolan who made us feel very welcome in Ireland. I would highly recommend cie tours to anyone looking to tour Ireland, and I have.

The tour was well prepared and the tour guide/driver was excellent. We’re were continuously treated to the good humor of the Irish.

What made the trip interesting was Mr Glavin.... his knowledge of History... and Bus driving ability. However, it would be nice if he could narrate the tour and have a bus driver for him!

Efficient, informative, and correct - through a travel agent but answered a couple of questions directly at the 800 number.

Well organized, informative tour!

Harry, our tour guide, kept everyone informed, well organized and he fielded all questions tossed out with patience and good humor. He was a fabulous fountain of information! Additions such as playing cds with music and reading quotes appropriate to the areas we were passing through enhanced the experience. Dennis, our driver, was a silent wonder! He didn't talk much but he was one terrific driver!!

CIE is the best!!!

Everything was so well organized. Our tour guide was the best,(Michael Coleman). He always put us first in every way. I would highly recommend your company. I would day that this was the best vacation I have ever had. My only complaint is that we were unable to see the Cliffs of Moher because they were heavily covered in fog and that certainly wasn't your fault. All in all, I loved Ireland and I would love to return some day. And if I do I would certainly book with CIE!

The booking service was user friendly, efficient, and accommodating. And, they did some good problem solving. Robert Wallace was considerate and helpful. On the downside different agents had varied responses to booking questions.

Booking was easy. Reaching out through e-mail I always got answers to any questions in a timely manner.

Nice coaches, lovely hotels, nice drivers.

Needed more history type info on the Scotland trip. Couldn't turn the Irish guide off. In contrast, 5 years ago, Rose Petrie had maps and song handouts, taught us the names of things, played games with us (the prize was a bag of haggis chips), and made the trip memorable.
I liked having all the entry tickets paid for up front too. Great value.

Great tour and a good value for the price.

The tour was wonderful. The itinerary was a great value for the price paid. The tour director did a great job of narrating our trip. He was both funny, entertaining and informative. The hotels that we stayed in were all very nice. The meals were very good.
The only negatives are that a few of the stops on the itinerary could be better, and one night were we were dining on our own was in a hotel that did not have many dining options within easy walking distance.

Was very nice

Our tour guide John Callinan was amazing. He was funny and informative. He was polite and respectful. He really made the trip wonderful. I enjoyed most of the excursions, with the exception of the free time in Dublin. There wasn't enough time to do what we wanted, and we were kind of left adrift. There was quite a range with the quality of the accommodations from very good to quite poor. Especially the hotel in derry which was very poor, and we unfortunately spent 2 nights there.

It was a very well run tour some of the hotels are a little run down you need elevators in guest houses being 79 and expecting me to walk up three flights of stairs is no good I had to be moved to the first floor. That brings up the fact that you don't understand the market ,you have more people like myself that are older
