Enjoyable tour with great guide

The tour was great. Guides were knowledgeable and informative. Would travel again with CIE. Only aspect of tour that I found lacking was the pub in York in a word terrible

Scottish Dreams Tour - Exceptional!

The Scottish Dreams tour was fabulous as we saw so many wonderful, historical places. We stayed in magnificent hotels that offered excellent dining. Our tour was greatly enhanced by our exceptional tour guide, David. Castles, the Highlands, sheepdog trials, the Royal Military Tattoo - this trip had it all!

The tour was just what we expected.....WE saw alot in a short period of time. Our driver Kerian was amazing!! The hotels were great. Food was good.....our only big disappointment was the air getting there....late flight, missed a connecting flight, delayed one entire day.....once we got to Dublin life was good!! Our travel agent, Laurie, was available as a resource the entire time.-

Irish Explorer - 10 Days/9 Nights
Fabulous time in Ireland!

We took the Irish Explorer trip and love all the scheduled stops. Our driver Dominic was the best driver and tour guide! He was helpful, very entertaining and knowledgeable about Ireland and their history. We especially enjoyed the two night stops as they were very relaxing! The hotels were all better than expected along with the meals.

Lovely tour

Booking our tour was easy- I was so pleased to see the small tour option available. I would recommend and most probably tour with you again. Our guide, Brian, was superb- he was a blue badge guide and truly knew his information and easily guided us! My only wish is that, instead of being based in one spot, we had opportunity to spend two nights in Stratford and two nights in Bath and use those areas as points to travel.

Did not like CIE charging double normal hotel costs for extra nights.was told by CIE if i didnt book through you than transport to the airport would not be covered.

Excellent Adventure!

The pre-travel pack CIE put together was perfect. It was very detailed for the entire tour. The backpack was a great addition fro prepare for the trip.

Taste of Britain & Ireland - 14 Days/13 Nights
A very good trip would have liked a little more of Scotland.

The booking was good. I don’t think a city tour of London on the day of arrival is a good idea. Everyone was so tired from the overnight flight.

Best way to see Scotland

I would definitely recommend CIE tours. This is our second tour with CIE. Each one has been led by knowledgeable guides. We stay in local hotels with flavor of the community, the trips are interesting and the service excellent

It was great. I worked with Gus Connolly who was always there for me. Due to a medical emergency, we had to leave the trip early. Gus really helped me rearrange my airline flights.
