Lovely tour

Booking our tour was easy- I was so pleased to see the small tour option available. I would recommend and most probably tour with you again. Our guide, Brian, was superb- he was a blue badge guide and truly knew his information and easily guided us! My only wish is that, instead of being based in one spot, we had opportunity to spend two nights in Stratford and two nights in Bath and use those areas as points to travel.

Did not like CIE charging double normal hotel costs for extra nights.was told by CIE if i didnt book through you than transport to the airport would not be covered.

Excellent Adventure!

The pre-travel pack CIE put together was perfect. It was very detailed for the entire tour. The backpack was a great addition fro prepare for the trip.

A very good trip would have liked a little more of Scotland.

The booking was good. I don’t think a city tour of London on the day of arrival is a good idea. Everyone was so tired from the overnight flight.

Best way to see Scotland

I would definitely recommend CIE tours. This is our second tour with CIE. Each one has been led by knowledgeable guides. We stay in local hotels with flavor of the community, the trips are interesting and the service excellent

Professional, caring, organized

It was great. I worked with Gus Connolly who was always there for me. Due to a medical emergency, we had to leave the trip early. Gus really helped me rearrange my airline flights.

Itinerary including hotels and sightseeing were very nice. Some logistics were not done well, possibly caused by Covid related issues.

A Summer to Remember in Ireland

We booked our Taste of Ireland Tour with CIE and it went very smoothly. We had the best time with Colm Clarke as our tour guide and the banter our tour had with him gave us so many laughs. He was very knowledgeable with the history of Ireland and gave us a "joke of the day" and one day he even sang for us. I highly recommend using CIE Tours for getting the most out of your vacation. Our hotels, meals, and destinations were all topnotch. We wish we could have spent a bit more time in Galway-- the time we were there was a bit early for lunch and most of the restaurants weren't opened for serving lunch. We will always remember our wonderful time of seeing the Emerald Isle.

The booking service was great once the March promotion was finished. It was impossible to get through on the telephone and I received NO responses to the emails I sent. More staff is required when promotions are being booked.

Great Tour of Scotland.

CIE Tours was booked through USAA Travel. When I needed to talk to a CIE representative, they were extremely responsive, answered all my questions and made any necessary changes to our tour options, and quickly confirmed all changes via email. Their travel documents were comprehensive and informative and their included travel plugs and backpack were used extensively. The Travel Director, Linda McKay did an outstanding job. Her extensive knowledge of the areas visited, the area’s history, and her commentary during the bus travels were interesting, amusing and well appreciated. She remedied any issues we had and was a significant help with our transfers (hotels/airports).

The booking service was good but wish they would have explained transport to and from airport. My first tour and wasn’t aware. First hotel in Dublin too far from all. Think overnight in Kilkenny and not Waterford would be best . Sheepdog was excellent and catamaran and Abbey. Galway was great and Killarney. Would have loved more free time to explore . Loved Waterford yours but didn’t like Waterford would have preferred a night in Kilkenny

I took the tour to visit the northern islands of Scotland and see the beautiful estate gardens. I rate it 5 star in both categories. This is my 4th tour with CIE they are excellent! no one does the UK and Ireland better!

The entire trip was well planned and our director and driver were awesome

The booking service was excellent. We did not have to do a thing! Our agent was very patient with us. This was our second trip with CIE and we hope to plan an Italy trip soon
