The consummate tour of Ireland....the mother land for many of us Americans.

the driver/guide was very informed and shared all local history and happenings with us. All of the walking guides were excellent...so knowledgeable.The hotels were 5 star....all breakfasts were fabulous, as were the dinners. The itinerary was wonderful. I particularly liked the opportunity to travel around Northern Ireland...the coach was clean and very modern. I loved it all.

The best bang for your buck!

Very easy to book our trip and every aspect of the tour was exceptional. Out tour guide/bus driver, Sean Gray, was amazing. He treated us like family, was very humorous, knowledgeable, and organized. We packed so much into our days and saw much more than we had ever anticipated. Our tour was over the top spectacular. The accommodations were so comfortable and getting into our rooms on arrival was so well handled. I would love to go on another CIE trip when we can. A plus!

Tours guide/ driver did excellent job. Tony Keenan was informative and entertaining. With 44 people things went surprisingly well

Excellent guides, mostly good hotels, great activities, many meals covered.

It was easy to reserve our trip and we appreciated the excellent airfare.

Once we got past the first day messup, everything was great. The first nights hotel was changed and we were never notified, hence wasting most of the first day trying to find our where we were supposed to be.

What a fantastic tour of Ireland . But the tour was made unforgettable by our guide Murt O’ Shea . What a fantastic guide . His stories , knowledge of history , humour & character were second to none . I cannot fault this tour with Murt as a guide . What a fantastic time ! “ 5 stars

All in one stop for everything that you need for a dream vacation!

CIE provided us with the Ireland dream vacation that we had wanted for years!! CIE arranged everything that we needed, airfare, lodging, transportation, access to many interesting sites and even a few meals!! We would DEFINITELY use CIE for our next getaway!!!

CIE changes travel

Loved every aspect of my 14 day trip (England, Scotland, Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland). The tour guide John C. and Coach driver John S. did not disappoint, they were very knowledgeable and the tour was not only beautifully scenic but a true history lesson in all areas of travel.
The hotels and food were top notch. Anyone would be lucky to attend one of the tours CIE offers. I look forward to my next one.

I booked through Affordable Tours, not CIE directly, but once I booked and had questions about the itinerary, I was pleased to find I could communicate directly with CIE and I appreciated their quick responses.
I must give my highest rating to our main guide/motor coach driver, Mr. Jerry McCarthy. He made everything go smoothly, safely, with interesting and educational stories and great humor throughout. He deserves a bonus!!

The tour was fantastic! Everything was very well organized and the hotels and food were top quality. But the highlight of this tour was our guide Tony Keenan. He was great and made the trip so much fun! Couldn't ask for better, and i would definitely take any tour with Tony as the guide!

Great trip good itinerary great driver and guide.

Great itinerary. Lloyd is a fantastic guide Colin a great driver...always felt safe with Colin. Highlights were the Irish night out at Major Colgan’s, Killarney (all), the walking tours, sheep dogs and great southern Killarney hotel. Things I wouldn’t recommend were the catamaran, the royal marine hotel...too far out of town and ammenities not the best,

The best thing we ever did was book a CIE tour.

Everything was just wonderful. All the accommodation, all the tours, the food and especially the driver, Colm.

We loved it so much that we are now planning our next trip around CIE tour dates.
