It is wonderful to call an office and have a person answer. Questions were answered honestly and issues were addressed quickly. Very professional.

Great Tour of Ireland for a fair price.

Overall good just a few hiccups...

Love the no-options being sold. Most things were great. Bus, driver, guide, itinerary, all excellent. Had one bad hotel and the ferry was cancelled to the isle of Skye the day we were supposed to take it. Wish there were also a few local walking tours like there was on our Ireland tour last year.

We spoke with two different agents based in Cork, who were very informative and extremely helpful in answering all our questions about the itinerary, air options, etc. very happy with their service.

CIE was very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend them.

We used a third party booking service which took the time to help us choose the right tour and to identify strategies to help save money. also helped to make the flight arrangements that would get us there in time for the initial event. helped with trip insurance and provided valuable information for packing. answered subsequent questions we had about final documents.

Customer Service

Customer Service was excellent from booking to getting transport back to the airport. Our driver Jim made our coach ride more entertaining, informative and overall more enjoyable. Thanks, can’t wait to see more of Ireland with CIE, a Taste is not enough😃🇮🇪

#1 complaint: CIE wanted us to put a down payment down before we had a final figure of the tour and extended stay. I was finding air fair for $800.00+ round trip and CIE never let us know what those cost were. They threatened to cancel the trip and I thought fine with me, I needed to know the total cost before I was going to give them a down payment. #2. There could have been better communication explaining the extended stay process. We included an extended stay and booked it thru CIE. CIE never informed us that the expectations from them and the process of booking B&B's. I was concerned about not hearing how that process worked, I finally had to send emails asking when we would be able to book B&B's. I was satisfied with CIE getting back to us when I sent emails questioning the process.

The trip was satisfying. The hotels you put us up in were good and food was delicious. I always felt somewhat deprived not being able to stop more for museums or informative places but when I look at the tour we took, we got exactly what we signed up for. If we wanted more there were other opportunities thru CIE to book a bigger tour. We got what we paid for. It takes a fair amount of time to cover the area the tour covered. We saw a fair amount of Southern Ireland. The stops were interesting. I did find out that CIE stops at places that support tour buses and an opportunity for the travelers to spend money. The shops were exceptional.

Overall a good buy and a fun trip.

We replied to an email regarding air transportation, but we were told it was premature. No one got back to us, so we overlooked it entirely and had to book our own. Our mistake, but it was upsetting.

Tanya was helpful, polite and efficient. She returned my calls and called to check I had received all of my docs. Well-done.
