Had a great time on our trip to England!

Great itenerary. Knowledgeable, tour guide who was very accommodating and witty. Made time on buses fly by even in a lot of traffic. We all loved Hamish

Incredible

We had the most incredible time. Our driver and tour guide were kind and funny, they were a joy to travel with throughout Scotland. I highly recommend this tour if you want to get a nice taste of Scotland.

The itinerary of the trip was exceptional. Although the whisky tasting was unavailable a very nice gin tasting was substituted and was enjoyed. Although the brand new coach had issues, which caused us to lose half a day of traveling, Keith was an exceptional driver. The coach was comfortable and we very much appreciated the large windows. The hotels were very nice except for the Columba in Inverness which was very shabby, and exceptionally hot although the food was cold and just not good. The breakfast was also not good, getting there when it opened they were already 'out' of some basic things and even the toaster even caught fire. The man in charge told us it was his last day. That hotel needs to be changed. Our guide Linda was very knowledgeable and humorous.

Fun, beautiful, relaxing and so well organized.

The entire tour was perfect. Joe Lavery was an amazing guide. He was so knowledgeable about Ireland and each region we toured. Joe made everyone feal at ease. His commentary was very informative enlightening and witty. It was so enjoyable to hear his personal experiences too. The trip was very well organized from luggage transfers, overall scheduling, announcements, and meals. The coach was always clean and Fergal was a fantastic driver. We had such a great experience with CIE tours that we are planning to do another tour through Italy with CIE next year.

Amazing Trip

Your tour guide Graham Bruce was the best. He truly made the trip unforgettable. I went solo but was made comfortable and welcome by both cie and my fellow tour group people. I would highly recommend cie to anyone wanting to travel to Scotland.

After touring with 4 different touring companies I can say that CIE was unequivocally the best in every area….tour director, hotels and especially quality of meals.

CIE was wonderful! They were great at communication and keeping us in the loop about the every changing travel rules. Our tour director was amazing at answering all of our many questions too! We can't wait to travel with them again!

A wonderful tour!

Booking was easy. The tour was very well organized, the guide was very personable and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to add special stops and answer any questions. The driver was excellent and also very knowledgeable about Ireland.

This was booked through a travel agent. Overall it was a great traveling experience. Our tour guide Greg was wonderful. We did feel a bit rushed at times though at a few of the locations we visited.

Our “Taste of Ireland” tour was the perfect little tour!

We booked through a travel agent. She did a great job of answering all of our questions and when she didn’t know the answer she made some calls and found the answer.

Best tour we've done yet!

We have done tours before and loved them but this was definitely the best! We saw so much and the accommodations and meals were superb! Our driver Sam and tour guides were the best and we loved every minute.

Best of Britain

Just returned from my 2nd CIE tour. This one was the Best of Britain. Our family of four had an amazing time with an awesome group of travelers, a wonderful tour guide, Phil, and a very talented bus driver, Dennis. We saw so many historical and beautiful places. Although there is never enough time in Edinburgh, our family loved this tour. We ate good food, stayed in nice hotels, and really saw a lot of the UK. CIE does a great job of organizing trips, keeping the itinerary fast-paced, but manageable, and hitting the highlights of an area. We even hit a snag with the queen being in residence in Windsor, so our quick-thinking tour guide booked us a tour at Hampton Court Palace instead. What could have been a disappointment turned into a fun surprise! I would travel with CIE again and recommend it highly.
