Phenomenal experience. Tour director Tony & Jerimiah were outstanding!!!

Unbelievable experience. Good accommodations, well structured, and timed (we saw a lot!). Tour directors we approachable, knowledgeable, funny, and gave us personal recommendations. THE best time!

Would use again if traveling to their destinations.

Booking a trip was easy in 2019 and all my questions were answered timely. By the time my trip occured in 2022, wait times in the phone exceeded 45 minutes. Once I got thru the team was professional and awesome!

Yes I would recommend them, however, the hotel in London needed something to be desired. My room had to have the compressor fixed and Rm 501 had no AC.

Great knowledgeable driver Hotels Great except Kenmar/Over Bar/Noisy and so small we had to step over suitcases/ No place to put. This was my 3rd trip with C I E and don't feel it was the quality that I had in the past. I get it with Covid things changed but I was hit up with 2 price increases that should have covered expenses.

We didn’t book through CIE directly, but for the most part we did receive quality service. We never got a receipt showing we paid in full as we were told we would, but the person we dealt with sent an email saying it was paid in full.

As for the actual tour it was great!! 5 🌟 Our driver/guide (Joe) was amazing! Great accommodations an fulfilled our desire to see the highlights of both Scotland and Ireland!

Amazing trip!

Just got back from an amazing trip to Scotland and Ireland. Sam Lavery, our tour guide and bus driver, could not have been more knowledgeable, entertaining and kind. We look forward to booking another vacation in the future.

The trip was very organized and full of information on the history of Italy. We were able to see all the sights Italy has to offer with ease.

CIE has put together a great 9 Day tour in Ireland with a knowledgeable and funny tour director with Tony.

Very organized from greeting us at the airport throughout our entire tour. Wonderful hotels. A lovely tour guide full of information, kind and great stories!

We could not have asked for a better guide and driver for our "Irish Classic" tour of Ireland. Our guide, Brendan Heneghan, and our driver, Adrian Healy, did a superb job of taking our group all through Ireland, explaining the various sights, town, and history of each area. Through rain showers and sun, our group had a wonderful time exploring the history, enjoying the food and entertainment, and the walking tours in all the cities we visited. Cheers go out to our guide and driver.

Would recommend them. This was my third experience with CIE Travel. Hotels, food were superb, well chosen. Our tour was in two pieces and while our first tour guide & driver were both excellent. Took me awhile to understand our second driver/guide. Perhaps he needed to concentrate to drive so narration took second place.

Good base of operations for daily tours; crowded itinerary some days.

Excellent accommodations and meals at Adare Dunraven. Loved having a base of operations for daily tours. Aloft Dublin very quiet and comfortable, though a much different experience, but couldn’t use hairdryer in bathrooon. Adare walking tour should have included the castle or the manor. Aunty Lena’s bar was OK, but too crowded; food and atmosphere was better at The Arches.
Introduction, collection of vaccination affadavits, and discussion of bus safety not completed. There were two passengers that were coughing and sniffling; we wore masks and were shunned by some others in entourage. We later contracted COVID and suspected that they were infected as well.
Cliffs of Moher and Caherconnell could have involved more discussion by driver.
Ring of Kerry tour cut short by Moriarty’s (1/2 hour sufficient) and not enough time in Killarney. Jaunting car ride unnecessary and cramped; driver was quite interesting, though.
Lunch OK on day 4, but would have liked time to explore town. Tom Creans presentation excellent.
Titanic walking tour excellent, but train ride unnecessary. Would have been nice to have more time in Cobh.
Blarney Castle mob in afternoon from cruise ship in Cobh; morning at Blarney Castle could have been less crowded, allowed for manor tour, and possible access to castle (90 minute wait in afternoon).
Taylor’s Three Rock entertainment was great, but cut short due to need to get into Dublin proper. We didn’t have much time to see Dublin attractions that afternoon. Bus driver had to ask us where we wanted to be left off. Only 1.5 hours before returning to bus; it could have been longer, since we were on our own that evening. GPO Museum close by and excellent.
We grabbed the wrong Hop On/Off bus; please advise patrons to take the green one and provide maps as to their stops.
Lastly, our driver informed us of times of departure; he chastised us for arriving just in time (9:00 departure) and at another time for taking a needed bathroom break at Ross Castle.
There was no safety discussion, especially asking that those with upper respiratory symptoms test for COVID and wear a mask even if negative. We were uneasy because two tour members had coughs and didn’t wear masks.

Easy to book and they were flexible in allowing you to book extra days outside of the tour. The packet had all the necessary information and the communication was wonderful. The Spirit of Ireland tour was well laid out and allowed you to see what hotels you would be staying in.
