Great visit to historical sites in England.

We purchased our trip through a travel agent. The tour director in London was upbeat, helpful, and cheerful. The bus driver was friendly and competent. He masterfully negotiated heavy London traffic. The hotel accommodations were very nice. The places we visited captured English history. We would like to have had more time at each of the sites as we felt a bit rushed to get back on the bus. And more personal guides through the towns would have been nice. The hotel was in the heart of London which was nice for visiting sites after the tour was over but it made it very difficult getting out of tow each day due to heavy London traffic. Overall it was a great trip.

Great tour guides and great bus drivers. It was the right amount of people to make it enjoyable and allow all to get to know each other.

Great Introduction to Ireland.

This was our first time to Ireland and found the "Classic Ireland " CIE Tour very well organized with a wide variety of events to take in and see many aspects of Ireland - All the way from a beer tasting to a medieval feast in a castle to sheep dog demo to Magnificent natural wonders of awesome scenery! Our tour guide was Brendan who had an amazing memory for so many details of the land and event of history - with many bad puns thrown in to keep us all laughing. The driver Eddie was very talented getting a large bus through some tight spots. Well Done overall - I wouldn't change a thing! :-)

The tour guide Becky, driver Garry in Scotland and Carhel in Ireland were great.

i used CIE tours four years ago via Triple A, this time i booked the scots irish tour directly through CIE. everything was explain and went very well.

Tour was well planned. Guide and Driver very informed and friendly.

Anita was very good, but the hotels were not what we expected. I thought that the price we paid for the CIE Tour would have included better accommodations.

generally a very good tour. A little disappointed with some of the food options and hotel experiences. guide was great. Would like to have seen a botanical garden.

Perfect way to relax on a vacation

Locations were perfect, ease of touring with a group, our tour guide/bus driver Sam was FANTASTIC, he really made the trip such a great experience!
We were really able to enjoy this vacation, and not worry about every little detail!

It was a wonderful trip!. The tour director was great. I loved not having to worry about driving or other things and could just enjoy the trip.

CIE is very organized with their tours.

I was disappointed with the chat I had with CIE customer service 2 days before we left for our tour. They claimed they knew nothing about the closing of Windsor Castle (which was posted all over the Windsor sites on the internet!). Come on I’m not stupid! They also claimed they did not know if we would receive a replacement tour or if other arrangements could be made for a tour of the castle on another day. They said we would find out when we got to Windsor, sad. We were given no replacement tour or a tour for another day.
