Great and easy.

The booking was great. It was very easy. We were even able to arrange to add extra days on to our tour before and after through CIE.

Great trip but a lot of road time

We had a great tour guide, Dominic. He was extremely knowledgeable and funny. He was a great driver and we did spend a lot of time traceling in the bus.

The tour director and bus drivers knew exactly what they were doing. We had a great family experience.

We had a wonderful “Best of England” tour with guide Harry Gray and ....

We had a wonderful “Best of England” tour with guide Harry Gray and driver Denis Murphy. The very first day we saw a mile long line at Windsor Castle, but our tickets were already taken care of and we went straight in with no waiting. That was the way it was at all sights on the trip.

The street where we were to meet the bus after the Edinburgh Tattoo had been barricaded by the police. Somehow Denis managed to find a close parking space and Harry was able to find everyone and get us back to the bus.

All the accommodations were first class. The meals were excellent, although pretty heavy. We visited the important sights and did not have to worry about booking, driving, parking, where to stay or where to eat.

Anytime anybody mentions visiting the UK, I always recommend CIE.

Loved Scotland

It was mostly done on line and everything went fairly well. I did have to call with some questions but they were answered quickly. I did explain that I wanted seats with a lot of leg room and I mentioned business class but somehow that did not get through to them. My husband hates flying and I figured going business class would be more comfortable and next time I will onsis on it. We made reservations quite early so I wish they would have just told me up front that we were in economy. Other than that everything went smoothly.

Great way to holiday with CIE taking care of all the decisions

I would definitely consider going on another CIE tour. Even though the days were full and sometimes long, it was great what CIE had pre-planned for us and taken care of all the details so we didn’t have to.

The Experience Of A Lifetime........

Our Trip to Ireland was the experience of a lifetime. Whether seeing the historical sites of Dublin, wandering through Killarney, kissing the Blarney Stone or walking along the Cliffs off Moher we were in heaven. Our guide Peter was awesome and gave us a true sense of our ancestral home. We hope to return in the Spring of '19. Our thanks to Peter and CIE Tours for a fantastic experience
