Absolutely great tour guide, pointing out locations along the way to the actual sites we were there to see and mixing in personal stories. Hotels and locations were top notch. Locations for lunch and dinner heightening the tour

Professional, Friendly, Enjoyable and good learning experience
Everything went according to schedule and as had been planned, despite a couple of days of inclement weather; the driver, Peter, and tour guide, Marian Kelly, were very adaptive, intelligent and creative, with lots of good humor and respect for each and every one of the visitors

Irish Adventure - 9 Days/8 Nights
Pampered in Nature and by Hotels
Our tour guide Murt was great! He was knowledgeable and told great stories while we were driving. He really made sure we were taken care every step of the way by making sure we arrived to visits before the crowds and recommending shorter bathroom lines. The Irish Adventure is a demanding itinerary but well worth it the natural beauty of Ireland combined with trips curated by CIE made it the best trip possible. We especially enjoyed the Ring of Kerry and the Cliffs of Moher. Every hotel was comfortable and the staff were kind. We were especially pampered at the Ballygarry Estate in Tralee and would happily stay there again to bask in the beautiful grounds there.

A+ tour of Ireland
Our CIE tour was amazing from start to finish! Every hotel was perfect, the food was amazing, and our tour guide, Murt O’Shea, did such a great job of both taking care of us and teaching us about Ireland. We will definitely be doing another CIE tour in the future!

Overall exceptional service.
For the most part the service was excellent. Pickup at the airport was fine and our bus driver for the duration of the tour was exceptional . He was full of information and considerate of all on the tour. Baggage was handled efficiently and except for the first day, hotel check in was quick and easy.

Great for families with adult children!
Great service - they take care of everything for you! This is especially helpful when traveling with a large group. When my siblings and I go on CIE trips with my parents, we do not need to decide where or when to eat, wake up, where to go, etc. The service and attention to detail from CIE helps us spend less time bickering and more time enjoying our vacation together.

2024 Irish Odyssey - 12 Days/11 Nights - Wonderful Tour
Brian our tour guide was wonderful. He was organized, efficient and very good at planning. He was helpful and full of information about history, or anything else you needed to know. As far as the tour, it was great. CIE thought of everything. Things I would never have planned if I was planning the itinerary. My husband and I enjoyed the tour very much.

2024 Irish Odyssey - 12 Days/11 Nights - Excellent!
Hotels were excellent and except for the Dublin location, were located right in the middle of the city. The afternoon free in Dublin, the bus left us off near Trinity College and surprisingly scheduled a pickup time to bring us back to the hotel which saved us getting a taxi. This was my second CIE trip and I would use them again. Everything was seamless. The driver/guide, Brian, was excellent!

2023 Irish Adventure - 9 Days/8 Nights
It was a once in a lifetime, memorable experience!
My family and I booked the Irish Adventure tour with CIE in July 2023. We spoke to multiple people at CIE prior to setting up our reservation and everyone was extremely helpful and professional. The representatives were patient as they answered endless questions. They scheduled everything; airline reservations, transportation, tour information, excursions, porter service, financial inquiries, and most food. If we needed to alter a day or two, they were able to accommodate us. We really didn’t have to worry about anything! They handled everything with great care and concern.
Personally, we have to give a big round of applause to Dominic Dixon. He is one of the most knowledgeable tour guides you could ever hope for in a foreign land. Our family could not give enough positive feedback regarding Mr. Dixon. He knows everything you want to know about the Emerald Isle! Besides being educated and cultured, Dominic is extremely personable, funny and entertaining. He has an anecdote for most areas, and he could be a true professor of Irish history. At one point, he even serenaded us, singing Forty Shades of Green, and he sounded exactly like the singer, Johnny Cash. Furthermore, he kept us updated on the day’s proceedings, and was extremely attentive to everyone’s needs. He deserves a raise!!! In addition to Dominic Dixon, we were pleased with all the other tour guides who walked us through various counties and taught us even more about Irish history and culture. It was an amazing time!! We highly recommend CIE tours and have been spreading the word.

Scottish & Irish Gold - 15 Days/14 Nights
The tour guides were very knowledgeable. Bus was nice. Would have liked more time in Dublin. Ross castle was a bust but ride out was awesome.

Irish Gold - 8 Days/7 Nights-Absolutely amazing!!
While the bus trips were long, there’s no getting around it if you want to see Ireland and well worth it! . We loved our tour guide, Tommy! While my 19-year old grandson wasn’t too thrilled at the beginning of the trip (he thought he was with a bunch of “old people,” he was kissing and hugging everyone goodbye at the end of the tour and was so sad when it ended. He absolutely loved it! Tommy gave us the history of every area, recommended where to go to eat and provided much comedy!! We already miss Ireland and can’t wait to go back.
