We never had any problems and the people who helped us were great. I thought we were going to have problems when the first travel agency went bankrupt but there wasn't one glitch.

Pleasant experience with CIE’s Scotland Tour

Our guide was an absolute doll and so knowledgeable about Scotland and its history. The driver was excellent and very personable. It was a plus that most meals were included. Itinerary was generally good with some exceptions.

The process was very straightforward and the reps answered all of my questions quickly and completely. I would use and recommend CIE.

Airline ticketing/seat selection was difficult.

Have travelled with CIE previously so was familiar with company. Still great service and our bus driver/guide was the best.

Used travel agency. Was easy to obtain and package received before trip was excellent.

Very efficient, package of information arrived in a timely manner.

Great value

Everything was well planned and very well organized. The tour guide and bus driver were always very professional and informative.

One area to improve would be allowing smaller tables at the meals - I traveled with my wife only yet we frequently had to sit at tables of 6-8 people. That was sub-optimal.

We had the time of our LIFE

Had a great trip with my dad and sister, but my dad would have preferred his own bedroom. You had a sharing one room with 3 adults. Also, could we have a preference of either 1st class, business or coach and were are seats are? We are over 6 feet tall and the flight there and back we were squished.

I can't wait to return to Ireland! I loved the CIE Odyssey tour, the tour bus, and the accommodations were top notch. Our tour guide, Eamonn, was funny, knowledgeable and we enjoyed his company. We did have trouble getting to Ireland because of weather, and CIE was not helpful in any way getting from the airport as we were 24 hours late- even the "24 hour emergency" number was unmanned.

Fantastic vacation! Great attention to details

We booked through a third party and not CIE, that will not happen again. Our next trip will be directly booked through CIE.

I did not have a lot of interactions with CIE Tours service, as the trip was handled by our travel agent. I did like the backpack and items and documents that were sent pre-tour; we used them every day on the tour. I did have a problem with getting registered and using the CIE web site, but my travel agent confirmed the tour was set up correctly and there was little additional information required by the web site.

Service and tour guide were excellent very professional and informed us at all times will travel with CIE AGAIN
