Very easy to book and a great itinerary

Well laid out program with a variety of experiences that gave a good view of the countries. Accommodations good with food choices that were very similar at each stop, good but not outstanding. One extraordinary guide that made the whole trip special and another that did a very good job handling both driving and guide duties. Overall a good value for the money

Easy & efficient

CIE Tours made it easy and efficient to book my dream trip to Ireland. All phases of the experience were smoothly conducted.

THE ITINERARY WAS GOOD. I WANTED TO CIRCLE THE COUNTRY.. THEY ADJUSTED MY TICKET WHEN A FRIEND DECIDED TO GO WITH ME AND I GOT MY 10% DISCOUNT INSTEAD OF 5%. THEY WERE PLEASANT AND ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS

We booked Dec. We wanted the 1st week in June but CIE only had 8 spaces and we had 9 people. They said that they could take 9 in the 2nd week of June but they were waiting for payment from a party of 4 for the 1st week in June. They asked us to call back the following week to see if they could fit us in for the 1st week of June. Then they to told us the 2nd week in June was filled. We had to go to the 1st week in August . A complete screw up by CIE.

A great tour

The booking service was very good, but I was disappointed that I could not get the military and the booking discount at the same time What's the use of honoring your military service if you can not obtain both.

Excellent service.

We had representatives waiting at the airport when we arrived to take us to the hotel. Due to travel delays one person from our party was unaware that someone was going to be waiting for her and he did not know where to locate her. She was with the airlines trying to work out the arrival of her luggage that did not make the connecting flight. All travel between locations was handled extremely well.

The booking agents were very friendly and easy to work with. Everything was extremely well organized.

My husband, grandmother, and I recently went on the Taste of Iceland tour and loved it! It was a short trip (6 days), but we got to see a lot. Our tour guide, David, was phenomenal! He had so many stories to share and knew a lot about the country and every place we visited. Our bus driver, Jon, was also very wonderful. He even suggested a few places off of the itinerary for us to visit quickly while driving between locations. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like to see a lot of different locations (lava fields, glaciers, city life in Reykjavik, national parks, etc.). It was a great "taste" of the country and has made me want to go back and visit again in the future.

EXCELLENT ORGANIZATION. USER FRIENDLY PLANNING AND ALL INCLUSIVE FEATURE WAS A DISTINCT POSITIVE. WITH VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS THE ENTIRE TOUR WAS OUTSTANDING.

Our Guide Fran and our driver Desmond made this trip memorable for us. The entire group felt like family by the end of our tour. Fran was very knowledgeable and we could not have had a better guide. These two people are fantastic. Our accommodations were excellent, the meals were excellent, and the sites that we visited were awesome. My party had a truly fantastic time. Except for our flights which were horrible, our time in Scotland was wonderful. I would truly recommend CIE tours to anyone. Thank you for the wonderful trip of a lifetime. Pastor John Johnson

Yes, would definitely recommend CIE Tours to friends and family. Absolutely loved our tour director, Regine Schweiss and bus driver, David.
Loved Scotland and all the sites and hotels where we stayed. However, we were disappointed when the train ride (Harry Potter steam) was substituted, especially since I booked this trip in March and trip was scheduled for July. These tickets should have been reserved. Also I would suggest more time in St. Andrews and possibly eliminating the cruise on the Firth on Forth. There is so much to see in St Andrews and we felt rushed.

Great Tour

We had a great time on our CIE tour. It was a large group with 40 passengers but our guide Mert did a great job of keeping everyone on schedule. He also paid extra attention to someone with us that had some mobility issues. Overall the hotels were beautiful. The pace of the trip is necessarily fast but you see a lot and the right amount of time seems to be allocated to each stop. Mert was funny and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend CIE.

CIE Tours is very organized. They were waiting for my wife and me at the airport when we first came in to Dublin and took us to the hotel. Everything CIE promised, they delivered. We had an excellent guide and driver - Seamus and Nigel. Going on a tour enabled us to do a lot more than if we were going on our own. They kept us busy every day with fun travels. We especially liked the Irish/Scottish Sampler because we got to tour two countries in 8 days. This amount of time was just right for us because we did not want to leave our house or our jobs too long. At the end of our trip, they took us back to the airport. We also made a lot of new friends on our tour. If you don't want the stress and worry of planning an international trip, let CIE do it for you!
