Absolutely superb we are on a Cosmos tour at the moment and wish it was CIE
This was a fantastic tour . The places we visited were fantastic. The accommodation was excellent. The tour director and driver were more than you could expect . Yes I would recommend CIE and yes Iwill use them again to tour Scotland

The tour was excellent. the only thing is we should be drop off where we started. John our bus host was fanastic so was our bus driver.It cost us an extra 100 euros
to get back to Dublin where we started on the 14 day of our tour.

Booking service was fine overall; I would have preferred if they had gotten us all of our assigned airline seats (we had to do that ourselves). I did not like that part. Also did not like that we did not know this until close to the travel date, so the seats we picked were near the back of the aircraft.

Wonderful tour....you get a lot for your money.
Everything from the hotels, food, excursions, was great! Tour guides were fantastic. The itinerary was a little fast paced, but I loved that we got to see a lot in a short period of time.

Well organized tour Bob our driver was very knowledgeable and entertained us. All the hotels were wonderful. I wish our hotel the 1st two nights in Dublin ( Clayton ballsbridge) had been closer to the action like our hotel on the last night (academy) or at least closer to the hop on hop off route. All the meals were wonderful esp the night out at the merry ploughboy. Would definitely recommend CIE

Great Taste of Italy
It worked well for me but they forgot to send me vouchers for the LOVE 2019 promotion transfers from the airport in Venice to the hotel and from the Rome Hotel to the airport. I had to call them for that. They needed to clearly specify that walking of 3-4 miles a day may happen as the big buses aren't allowed in the old towns usually. We had people who were NOT prepared for that amount of walking as someone had on a fitbit that tracked the miles in Florence and Rome - Venice was not an issue. They did not have correct shoes or the stamina. I strongly suggest one more day in Rome as that was the breaking point for about 4-5 people who could not keep up after the walking in Florence as we then walked around Rome for a full day (I was fine since I try to walk 1-2 miles per day at home) and including more free time and dividing that last full day in two would have helped immensely. I am giving you this feedback to improve that tour since it was your first year. As a School Principal (retired) I often planned trips myself for groups. Almost everyone on the Italy tour had been on a CIE tour before land I am sure you want them to recommend the Italy trip too.

Loved the tour
Not happy with hotels in two locations. Cabra Castle isn't good with individuals who have limited mobility. The Moldran wasn't a four star. The rugs in hallways and rooms were dirty. The furniture was limited. The,bed,in our,room had springs with sprung,when you moved.
The bathroom rub was hazardous. We called for a matt. The lip of the tub was four inches above my knee. We were given a handicapped room and this was a solution.
However, the staff was outstanding. Westport was a charming hotel and once again the staff was wonderful. Need to find other hotels. Most of our group were seniors and some with mobility.

Booking the tour was great but booking airline seats that we paid extra for to assure we had extra leg room due to a medical condition did not happen on the return flight from Ireland. Also American Airlines had multiple delays - we left hours later and it impacted our first day’s tour. The airlines did not communicate very well regarding multiple changes of delays and gates. I would suggest using another airline .

I think I was spoiled from a 2018 tour guide of southern Ireland.
I think I was spoiled by Marlene Sullivan my 2018 CIE tour guide in southern Ireland. She was awesome !!! Austin lacks knowledge of the simplest points of interest. Nice guy but just didn't impress me with much history. He was confused with travel directions. We had a good driver but he was getting lost in Scotland trying to listen to Austin direction's. It cost us allot of time an we didn't get to see everything we were promised. Most likely wont be using CIE TOURS because of this matter. I truly believe Austin is a good person but has a issue with listening to people's needs.
