CIE Does It Again!

Everything was wonderful! We had a pleasant gentleman pick us up from the airport (and he was so sweet even though we were two hours late), the hotels were top-rate, the food was delicious, and our guide (who is so knowledgeable and helpful) and driver were amazing. They even got us a tour of Edinburgh Castle before it opened. It's the little touches that CIE offers that makes me keep coming back.

Great way to see Ireland!

CIE made it easy to see all the sites we wanted to in Ireland. The itinerary was well structured, and the coach driver Colm was informative and knowledgeable of the history of each area. We loved the experience!

Overall this was a great tour. Two areas that needed some help were the Welcome meeting and I will never fly Air Canada again. This was my third time to Ireland, second with CIE. Hotels were great!

Yes, I would book with them again. I want to give them 4 1/2 stars. My only complaint was that the last day was cut short. They could of did one more thing with us. It kind of just ended. The Bus driver and tour guide were both excellent.

Terrific tour, but I wish it were longer.

This tour was booked only about a month before departure, so it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, but it sounded good. I had a few conversations with an agent at the NJ office who didn’t get back to me as expected, but ultimately it all worked out. I was delighted to receive backpacks, phone plugs, luggage tags and full itinerary soon after paying. The tour itself worked out very well. I was looking for a small group, and there were 16 of us, which was great. Our driver/guide Tony, was absolutely fantastic. He gave us a lot of information about history, and life in Ireland, and kept us all well organized and on time. There just wasn’t enough time to cover the whole country other than breezing in and out of cities which are now all a blur. The hotels and meals were all excellent. Some of the hotels, however, were outside of town and we couldn’t easily go exploring on our own. I imagine it being high season, it wasn’t easy to book the more central locations.
