Perfect for our first trip to Ireland.

Two couples went booking same tour when not together. The lady who booked for us when we called separately and had many questions since we were first timers was very kind and helped us immensely.
Excellent itinerary, and
excellent, knowledgeable driver, John Doran.
We never felt unsafe with his driving.
The tour was all inclusive and no extra side trip charges.
Comfortable seating and rotation daily.

Going above and beyond to exceed expectations

I am exceptionally pleased and impressed with the high degree of personalized attention I received during the preparatory period. I had booked my trip many months in advance in order to take advantage of a favorable airfare offer. This actually caused several problems later when the airline changed schedules/canceled flights as the dates approached. Although I suspect this is routine, the problem was that the airline would not resolve the issues created by their automated system since the tickets were booked with "special fares by a third party" (CIE). This created a bureaucratic quagmire where significant change fees were likely, rebooking of portions of the trip was needed and I was forced to juggle other arrangements in order to re-settle my trip. Several different CIE customer service personnel participated in sorting all of this out at various points (bucking it up the chain when necessary) and ultimately, I was able to get the matters resolved satisfactorily and without additional expense to me. While this kind of systematic nonsense needs to be investigated and revised in order to avoid it in the future (and I am happy to speak with CIE management at their convenience to explain the issues in deeper detail), it's important to also recognize that the company invested significant time, care and administration to help return my arrangements to an acceptable state and keep them on track. In that regard, all involved should be commended for their client-centric approach and for their unwavering, demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction.

Once in a Lifetime

Our tour guides were first class! The whole trip we didn’t worry about one single detail they kept us informed and safe every step of the way! The bus was always clean, our luggage always taken care of, and our spirits always high (except for the last day).

Everything was handled professionally, making the trip very enjoyable and worry free. Lots of information, great itinerary, excellent guide and driver.

Outstanding, very impressive tour

Totally impressive tour leader: organised, very well informed, considerate, good sense of humour, perfect. Excellent accommodation, well designed tour, some particularly impressive excursions, e.g. sheep dogs with Neil. Loved this tour and loved Scotland. Would go back & have no hesitation recommending it.

CIE Tours are highly organised tours every detail well planned and covered. Although we only did the tour and not transfers we saw how well done that side of things were handled for others in our tour. Our Bus/Tour guide Tony Keenan was top notch so knowledgeable about Ireland and many other things as well. He was very very funny and a most amiable man, nothing was too much trouble for him. I would highly recommend CIE from our experience.

One hotel wasn't as nice as the rest (hotel in Pitlochery, food and service was great but room was stale-smelling and cramped compared to other hotels). Our driver and tour guide were terrific, tho. Wonderful trip, beautiful countries and nice people.

This was our 3rd tour with CIE and every tour has been Fantastic! Friendly and courteous customer service. Knowledgeable and very helpful tour guides and coach drivers. I've even recommended CIE to family and friends. Look forward to future tours.

Total enjoyable

Highly recommend. We found the trips interesting as well as enjoying the beautiful country side. Very much history provided by driver as well as the walking tours. Accommodations were good and our driver Tony Keenan was 5 stars all the way. He went above and beyond to make sure we stayed on schedule and never had to touch our luggage. Tony is funny, charming and very efficient.

Collection at airport was quick and easy. Brian, our tour guide, was awesome! Would highly recommend this tour
