It Was a Dream!

What a great time! There was excellent communication from the tour directors for every aspect of our trip. The hotels were just awesome and everyone was very unique. The stops we made were very interesting and historical just like I like. I would very much recommend this tour company and specifically this tour!

Our CIE tour was amazing. We saw more things with the tour than if we had tried to go on our own.
We didn't have to worry about accommodation or transportation as that was all taken care of, including moving our luggage..
Amazing time, Ian was a great tour guide. John is a great tour bus driver, even in the rain.
I have and will continue to recommend CIE Tours to people going on these Fantastic trips.

Wonderful tour of south western Ireland

Everything went very well Our tour guide and bus driver Philip Duffy was excellent. Tours, meals ,and time table worked well each day. Philip educated us not only about the scenery, but the history, education system, government, and daily life of the Irish people. I would highly recommend this tour with CIE.

The tour had everything taken care of and it was an easy transition from the airport.

I had a magical wonderful trip

I had a magical trip. Every place we stopped was educational historical every place I slept. The beds were so wonderful. It just was a first trip to Europe and Ireland rules.

Great vacation to Scotland/Ireland the guides/driver were wonderful.

CIE did a wonderful job setting up the itinerary for our Scotland/Ireland vacation. The venues were and accomadations either met or exceeded our expectations. The tour guides/bus driver were a delight to work with.

The only negatives were the third party tour operator we worked with from the United States. It felt like once the sell was closed the correspondence and follow-up inquires almost came to a stand sill with long delays (weeks) between responses. Could CIE establish a direct billing website and or their own travel agent to assist customers directly?

The only other issue we ran into was the transportation set-up by the CIE guide for transport to the Dublin airport. The taxi service did not arrive and after waiting over 30 minutes we ended up paying for a local taxi service to transport us from the hotel to the airport. The additional cost ($40) represented not only cost put undue stress.

Excellent way to see Ireland

Excellent way to see the highlights of Ireland in a short period of time. Our coach bus tour driver/guide was very informative and knowledgeable of all sites and area travel through. Accommodations were excellent. Meals and service were very good. As mentioned before, we would recommend this tour if you don’t have or want to spend a lot of time away from home. We will use CIE again if we decide to return to Ireland, but would like to have more free time. This would only happen if we extend our trip by several more days. Either before a tour or after or plan a tour, with CIE, with a small group.

CIE did a wonderful job and came to me with a very high recommendation from my travel agent Jeff Lazo (Hawaii). Jeff is very well connected and has elegant tastes. During the pandemic quarantine, I had attended a virtual tour in Ireland that Jeff hosted.

We had a fairly small group of 25 who experienced the Scots-Ireland 15 day tour. The best thing about it was all the events we attended that were included in our package.

CIE made exceptional decisions for us related to travel stops, castles, walking tours, pubs events, and city/town locations. I enjoyed everything we did thoroughly and left to my own choices would not have chosen them out of my own ignorance. So I felt very blessed to have such quality adventures to open my mind and be thrilled by! Most everyone felt the same. No decisions to make, no additional costs, and top notch experiences. Our 15-day bus driver was Irish and truly up for the challenge (Joe). Our five-day tour guide in Scotland (Rury) was wonderful story teller, poetry reader, and singer who made our trip through Scotland truly romantic and memorable.

The opportunity to take photos was absolutely available and a wonderful gift for me as I had a blast taking great shots on my Pixel and editing as I went. Driving along the Irish Sea was breathtaking. The countrysides inland were gorgeous.

Plus we started in Edinborough and ended in Dublin. We saw a lot of gorgeous geography!

Before we ever left, CEI communicated with us regularly and provided back packs, luggage belts, rain slickers and name tags so we could comfortably and securely travel. I felt safe.

I would love to take another CEI trip again someday, and based on what our companions were saying, they agreed. Not all experiences are as wonderful as the one we had,.

Great tour

Wonderful 1st Time Experience in Iceland

Overall experience was wonderful. The service, hotel accommodation and food were all excellent. However, we felt rushed and wished we could spend a bit extra time in the stunning places so we can soak in the beauty of each magical place.

The tour was fantastic and the guide (bus driver Franky) was phenomenal! He was very informative and fun!! I would definitely recommend CIE Tours!

Great Ireland tour

Excellent Ireland tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, informative and a great story teller. We are definitely considering a return to Ireland in the future using CIE.

Well planned excursions

Taste of Italy was worth every penny!

This was our first tour, so we were unsure what to expect. CIE proved to be a fabulous tour and surpassed our expectations. We enjoyed hearing from excellent local guides and had a fabulous tour manager (Diana). While we would have loved to spend more time in each city, we did manage to hit so many of the highlights everywhere we went. We would need a month to see it all! Had we tried this on our own, we would have only seen a fraction of the sites that we did. CIE took all the planning work out of our trip and let us simply enjoy the ride.
Be prepared to walk A LOT but we were ready with comfy shoes and clothes. We logged anywhere from 6 to 12 miles a day (spending our free time each day seeing more of each city.)
We would highly recommend anyone interested in visiting Italy, especially for the first time, to join a CIE group and get a "taste of Italy."

Our tour guide and driver were great, very knowledgeable about their country and able to answer any questions we asked. Iceland is a beautiful country. The hotels were good and the food they provided was excellent. The biggest disappointment of the trip is that the one place where we could have had the best opportunity for viewing the Northern Lights we were at a hotel that would not wake us up and in fact didn't even have a phone in the room or an alarm clock we could set to wake us up.
