Fabulous Ireland!!!

CIE took care of all the details of our trip, from air flights, bus travel, hotels and an excellent tour guide, who stayed with us on the entire trip. It was truly a relaxing vacation. We could sit back and just enjoy our trip to Ireland.

A great tour with wonderful experiences

The tour was a great experience for my new husband as he had never visited Ireland before, for me it was a wonderful reminder of previous tours of Ireland and visiting places from my last tours of your wonderful country.

The guides were amazing. Tour Directors were great! They were knowledge, thoughtful and often humorous.
We saw beautiful countryside, met friendly people and had good food.
Surprisingly we adapted to the early up mornings and packing with each day.

Jewels of Ireland (October) was a fantastic sample of the history and culture that Ireland has to offer. Most of the hotels were stellar. Denis & Sean were the best and I would tour with them again. Some of the dinners were so-so but when you feed that many people it is hard. The breakfasts were always great though. Some of the stops were more opportunities to shop but did mind it much.
I will happily tour with them again but 2 things I would have liked to have known ahead of time: CIE sends you plug adapters and the hotels use warm comforters not top sheets. If you sleep hot, plan ahead.

It was our first international tour guide experience and it meet and exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide, Bob, was very knowledgeable and had great stories! Even though it was one of our shorter tours, we were able to see a lot of beauty in southern Ireland and experience some of the local food, drinks and culture. The sheep herding visit and the Connemara marble factory were perfect additions to the tour. Would definitely recommend this package for anyone who would like to see some of Ireland's beauty.

Great trip for a first-timer to Ireland!

Great overview tour of the Irish Republic with a taste of Northern Ireland. Our tour manager/driver Dominic was knowledgeable, informative, and professional with a charming sense of humor. In short, he's a delight and a real asset to your firm. All the hotels were excellent, but the suites in Galway were beyond expectations. My suggested improvements are to eliminate the Ring of Kerry while retaining a sheep dog demonstration and spending a little time in downtown Cork rather than a quick drive-by. We would also recommend removing the boat ride in Galway. While the Irish Coffee was spectacular, the scenery is only weeds. Also, locate the closing night's dinner/entertainment venue closer to the hotel. After a long day in the coach from Killarney to Dublin, the nearly one-hour trip from hotel to restaurant was exhausting.

We enjoyed every attraction on the 23 day tour - an adventure of a lifetime!

Beautiful Ireland & CIE

Our tour guide was amazing. The bus was very comfortable. Meals were great. Itinerary was convenient and enjoyable. One of the hotel bookings proved to be inadequate. Otherwise, I would have given this tour 5 stars.
