Yes, would definitely recommend CIE Tours to friends and family. Absolutely loved our tour director, Regine Schweiss and bus driver, David. Loved Scotland and all the sites and hotels where we stayed. However, we were disappointed when the train ride (Harry Potter steam) was substituted, especially since I booked this trip in March and trip was scheduled for July. These tickets should have been reserved. Also I would suggest more time in St. Andrews and possibly eliminating the cruise on the Firth on Forth. There is so much to see in St Andrews and we felt rushed.

I spoke to several different booking agents throughout the entire process, and I was impressed with how patient and helpful each one of them were. Sometimes I got conflicting information as I asked questions about redeeming the trip insurance for my deceased husband, but again, each one was helpful and extremely patient. Kudos to your staff!
