I was very impressed by the whole experience. We went on the Irish Legends. We were able to get the by one airline ticket get one free. The tour had an absolutely amazing guide named Frank. He was funny, professional, punctual but accommodating, very informative and really seemed to care and passionate about the tour. The tour was not overwhelming and didn’t feel rushed nor was it too slow. There was 41 on the tour and luckily it was a great group. We didn’t ride in the bus for much more than an hour and half without stopping. There was a bathroom on the bus but it was broken most of the time but even with my small bladder we had plenty of opportunity to go- I think Frank knows where every bathroom in Ireland is. I was not impressed with the Horizon card- it seemed to be more trouble than the paper receipts. I missed the kiosk at the airport to swipe it- I asked an airport personnel where it was and they told me just do it online when I got home and I had to have a form notorized and had to mail it back after I got home. The paper receipts I just filled them out and mailed them at airport- airport employee told me where that was so that was easier. I’m so glad we decided to go on this tour. Ireland was beautiful and the people delightful. I could not have seen and learned all I did if I had tried to arrange it on my own

The breakfast are so important for long days of touring. They were lacking in substance and quality. Most travelers like a good Hardy breakfast. This needs to be improved but other wise all was good

Great tripThey did everything well. Jim was pleasent, knowledgeable and fun. We were supposed to take a ferry ride at one point, raced to get there, got in line, went up on deck for about 10 minutes, then were called back to the bus, where Jim started the bus and we left..... it was never discussed, and I never found out what happened. Other than that the trip was great. Food not very good at Killarney Hotel, but all other hotels and food were excellent. I would definitely recommend this tour company to friends and take another tour myself!!!!

Absolutely wonderful.Very experienced and competent booking personnel. Made the booking stress free. Our driver Sam and our tour director Anita were the best. They went above and beyond what was expected of them. Made very good friends with everyone on the bus.

40 shades of green, sheep all over, super friendly Irish people, food greatWe loved the Irish odyssey tour and especially the itinerary all around Ireland. We had one cie employee on the bus with us the whole 12 days. We expected a driver and a guide for the 37 people on our tour.

Scotland 2019! A fantastic tour!We selected this tour based on the itinerary and other than a basically useless 30 minutes of the Isle of Skye, everything was better than expected. Our tour director and our coach driver were exceptional! Ian, our tour director, was extremely knowledgable of all aspects of the tour including blooming trees and flowers all along our roads. Neil, our driver never seemed worried about piloting the big coach through some very narrow country roads. Both gentlemen kept a dialog going most of the time in the coach so that there was very little "down time". Small points of interest and some humorous asides made the trip more than enjoyable. The hotels were better than average with the exception of the Hilton in Glasgow. The room was small and very hot, and the window didn't open enough to allow any breeze. All meals were delicious and above our expectations. As I mentioned above, the sites we visited were superb except for Skye. The ferry ride over was nice, but all we did was get back on the bus to drive maybe 10 miles and go back across the bridge. All we saw were houses. Skye has so much to offer. I was looking forward to seeing the Old Man of Stor, and maybe the Fairey Pools. But that didn't happen. We would have much preferred several hours on the Isle and even add a day to the tour. Our time in Glen Coe was too short as well (and that's hard for a Campbell to say). Personally, we would have loved to get a picture of a pub with a "No Campbell's Allowed" sign! All in all, CIE did an amazing job with this tour. We are already looking into our next tour with CIE! (Can we ask for Ian & Neil for the next tour please?)
