Outstanding itinerary and a perfect Irish ambassador in our Tour Director.

We most appreciated the expertise of our tour director Marian Kelly (spelling??). She instantly had the group enjoying the trip together as if we were a family. Her personal experiences, stories, history lessons (thought there might be a test at the end :-) ) and intmate love of Ireland for its history and culture really made the whole tour worthwhile. She arranged the extra bonus of seeing "Trad on the Prom" in Galway, an outstanding show.

My husband and I had an amazing time utilizing CIE tours for our honeymoon! There was plenty of time for us together as well as making some great friends along the tour. Having a fantastic driver/tour guide MADE the trip for us, and the hotels were great. Thanks again!

I think I was spoiled from a 2018 tour guide of southern Ireland.

I think I was spoiled by Marlene Sullivan my 2018 CIE tour guide in southern Ireland. She was awesome !!! Austin lacks knowledge of the simplest points of interest. Nice guy but just didn't impress me with much history. He was confused with travel directions. We had a good driver but he was getting lost in Scotland trying to listen to Austin direction's. It cost us allot of time an we didn't get to see everything we were promised. Most likely wont be using CIE TOURS because of this matter. I truly believe Austin is a good person but has a issue with listening to people's needs.

Loved the tour

Not happy with hotels in two locations. Cabra Castle isn't good with individuals who have limited mobility. The Moldran wasn't a four star. The rugs in hallways and rooms were dirty. The furniture was limited. The,bed,in our, room had springs with sprung, when you moved. The bathroom rub was hazardous. We called for a matt. The lip of the tub was four inches above my knee. We were given a handicapped room and this was a solution. However, the staff was outstanding. Westport was a charming hotel and once again the staff was wonderful. Need to find other hotels. Most of our group were seniors and some with mobility.

Dee Dee Trezza was extremely helpful and responsive to assisting us .

Booking the tour was great but booking airline seats that we paid extra for to assure we had extra leg room due to a medical condition did not happen on the return flight from Ireland. Also American Airlines had multiple delays - we left hours later and it impacted our first day’s tour. The airlines did not communicate very well regarding multiple changes of delays and gates. I would suggest using another airline .

This was a rich experience of a beautiful country and its people's heritage

Our tour guide was very informative, humorous, proud of Ireland, good-natured, and helpful throughout the tour. The tour itself was a rich experience of many aspects of Ireland -- towns/cities, religious sites, historical sites, rustic sites and operations, artistic sites, pubs, literary figures and legends. Along the way, John helped us understand the ramifications of Brexit, the struggles for independence, the effort to heal the wounds of division and the celebration of that healing, and so much more.
