Aberdeen

Known as the ‘Granite City’ for its many grey-stone buildings built during the Victorian era, many have become landmarks such as the imposing Marischal College.

Lanark is a small town rich in history located in the county of Lanarkshire in Scotland’s more populous Central Belt. It’s been a market town since medieval times when King David I of Scotland made it a Royal Burgh in 1140, thereby encouraging trade. Legend has it that William Wallace married a lass from Lanark, Marion Braidfute, and that he began his campaign for Scottish Independence in there in 1297.
