Booking was a pretty easy process. We had 4 people in our group, so that confused things a little, but overall it was a good experience.

The itinerary on the most part was good. Eliminate the tour of the art gallery and provide something more unique such as the Schonbrunn Palace. I should have been informed that the optional excursions would not occur before finalizing my bookings--it left me with a lot of free time. When I inquired as to how to travel solo to the destinations listed, I met with a great deal of resistance rather than assistance from the tour guide. I looked forward to these excursions and the tour should have been perfect/near perfect for the amount of money I spent. The hotels and their locations were great but I do not need such an elaborate breakfast. The Majestic Plaza hotel in Prague provided me with a great assortment of breakfast items and wasn't so elaborate. Although the tour guides spoke some English, I had a great deal of difficulty understanding them and was not able to appreciate what they were telling me. Do not ever book Air Canada as the flight from Hungary to U.S. was horrible. It was cold, filthy, food unfit for human consumption and the pilot ignored my requests to put the heat on in the cabin. The passengers were putting blankets on their heads in an effort to stay warm. (Per flight attendant, she received no cooperation from the pilot.) I have traveled with CIE to Great Britain and the tour was fantastic. Because of that tour I have recommended CIE to others. However, I will never recommend CIE to anyone to take a tour with CIE other than Great Britain. I still believe that I should receive a partial refund.
