Irish and
British Focus 9 day tour
Day 1 - Sat:
Dublin
Arrival
Land in Dublin Airport and head to the CIE Tours desk to
arrange a group transfer to your hotel between 7:00 am and 12:00 noon. Your
Victorian hotel is a few miles south of Dublin,
overlooking Dublin
Bay. In the evening meet
your tour director for a welcome drink.
Day 2 - Sun:
Book of Kells & Taylor's Three Rock
This morning tour
Dublin's main attractions and visit Trinity College to see the campus and view the
Book of Kells in the Old Library. The afternoon is free and you may use your
open-top bus tour vouchers and visit Guinness or Jameson. In the evening head to
Taylor's Three
Rock Pub for dinner and a great show with lively music and step-dancing. (B,

Day 3 - Mon:
Rock of Cashel & Killarney
Depart Dublin and visit the Rock
of Cashel to see the 12th century highly-decorated Cormac's Chapel
and other ancient ruins. Continue to the famous town of Killarney and check in to
your centrally-located hotel with state-of-the-art pool and spa facilities. (B,

Day 4 - Tue: Ring of Kerry & Skellig
Experience
Embark on the Ring of Kerry tour for great scenery. Watch the Essence of
Kerry audio visual show and visit the Skellig Experience to learn about early
Christian monks who lived on the rocky offshore islands. Stop at Moll's Gap for
panoramic views before returning to Killarney. (B,

Day 5 - Wed:
Blarney
Castle & "Titanic" Walk
Visit the famous
Blarney
Castle this morning to kiss
the "Stone of Eloquence." Travel to Cobh, the
port town which was the last scheduled stopping place for the "Titanic." Take a
brief walk with a local guide to see places associated with that fateful
journey. Drive to Wexford for dinner and an overnight stay. (B,

Day 6 - Thu:
Ferry to South Wales
Depart Wexford early
this morning to catch the ferry from Rosslare to South
Wales. Stop in Cardiff for a look
around the city centre before driving across the River Severn
Bridge to Bristol. Check in to your
hotel, located in the heart of the city and relax before dinner. (B,

Day 7 - Fri:
Roman Baths & Stonehenge
Tour the spa town of
Bath to see the
Royal
Crescent and the Circus and visit the Roman Baths and
Pump Room, still preserved after two millennia. Drive to Salisbury Plain to view
the prehistoric circle of vast monoliths at Stonehenge. Continue into London and check in to your hotel near the Tate Modern and
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. (B)
Day 8 - Sat:
London
Sightseeing
Today you may join your
open-top sightseeing bus tour whenever you wish. Stops at all of London's famous landmarks are included - Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's
Cathedral, the Tower of London - so you may get on and off
wherever you wish. (CB)
Day 9 - Sun:
Depart for Home
As today is departure day, travel to Heathrow Airport by group coach transfer. Transfers
to Gatwick
Airport can be arranged at
additional cost. (CB)
