Tour Conditions depend on the type of program that you are booking with CIE Tours.

TOUR CONDITIONS FOR BROCHURE GROUPS

A. See attached quotation letter for dates and cost of the tour that you have requested to ensure that details are what you require.

B. As this program is one of our scheduled tours, we will review the number of seats you have blocked against your sales on a regular basis to ensure maximum utilization. Subject to availability, we can increase or decrease your space allocation to reflect your needs.

C. Single rooms are limited to 15% of total group numbers. If a tour conductor requires a single room, the relevant single room supplement will be charged.

D. Payment & reporting schedule:
Please sign this tour conditions sheet and return to CIE Tours with your deposit check for $500 for land only or $1000 for land and air arrangements within 10 days of the date of your quotation letter. Include your IATAN number and confirm the number of seats your group requires. All payments must be made by agency check, made payable to CIE Tours International. Keep a copy of this conditions sheet for your reference. Note - initial group deposit check is refundable up to 100 days prior to departure. Once deposit is paid, the land program will be confirmed and the land price guaranteed. ** As deposit requirements for exclusive use of coach are higher, contact us for details.

Air space will be requested at time of deposit. Group airfares are subject to availability and can change depending on the confirmed class of service. Additionally, airfares and taxes are subject to change until ticketed.

Passenger names and non-refundable deposit of $200 per person (plus travel protection plan premium if purchased) are required as you receive them. At 100 days we require a summary list of those booked and the balance of the deposits. At this stage and subject to availability, you may continue to hold 20% additional space for future sales. Failure to submit passenger deposits by the 100-day deadline will result in automatic cancellation of the block and forfeiture of the initial group deposit.

We require a final rooming list 75 days prior to tour departure date. All unused space is then released.

Final payment must be sent no later than 65 days prior to tour departure date.

F. Land Cancellation Penalties: All cancellations must be advised in writing.
Between 99 & 60 days Group deposit plus $200 per person
Between 59 & 31 days 25% per person
Between 30 & 8 days 35% per person
Between 7 & 1 day 50% per person
On day of departure 100% per person

G. Air Cancellation Penalties: Air penalties will apply depending on the airline booked. Airline conditions will be advised when airline seats are confirmed.

H. Travel Protection Plan: CIE Tours offers a travel policy to protect your clients in the event of cancellation, illness or theft of baggage. Passengers must pay the premium of $149 together with initial deposit. For details on the policy, see the accompanying flyer or the inside cover of our current brochure. Baggage is carried at owner's risk throughout tour.

TOUR CONDITIONS FOR CUSTOMIZED GROUPS

1. Quotation: CIE Tours has based the attached cost sheet on current prices for the hotels, attractions and services included in your quotation. All services are subject to availability as we cannot reserve any part of the tour until we receive your initial deposit. If hotels or services are not available at time of booking, we will secure alternatives and adjust the costs accordingly.

2. Guaranteed Exchange Rate: CIE Tours bases all land prices on a guaranteed rate of exchange. Airfares and departure taxes are subject to change until ticketed.

3. Group Size: If your group is larger than 48 passengers and needs two coaches, we will calculate the cost on equal distribution of passengers per coach.

4. Single rooms: Limited to 15% of total group numbers.

5. Complimentary tour conductor places: Granted on a half twin basis. If a tour conductor needs a single room, the relevant single room supplement will apply.

6. Prices: CIE Tours' cost sheet reflects a 3% discount for check payment. If your clients wish to pay by credit cards, the discount will not apply.

7. Land Payment Schedule:
All payments must be by agency or certified check, made payable to CIE Tours International.

CIE Tours requires an initial deposit of $500.00 per coach for land only arrangements or $1,000 per coach for air and land. (This deposit is fully refundable up to 100 days prior to departure). Once we receive your deposit, we will request all services.

We need your preliminary rooming list supported by a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 per person 100 days prior to departure date. At this time we will review your allocation. You may continue to hold 20% of the additional land space (subject to availability). Clients wishing to purchase CIE Tours' travel protection plan must send premium at this time.

You must send us your final rooming list 75 days prior to departure date at which stage we will release all unused space.

We must receive your final payment no later than 65 days prior to the departure date. If we do not receive your payment, we will be forced to cancel your tour and forfeit your deposit.

8. Air Payment Schedule: As each airline has different requirements, refer to your confirmation letter.

9. Land Cancellation Penalties: You must advise all cancellations in writing.

Between 99 & 65 days before departure date Initial deposit plus $200 per person
Between 64 & 21 days before departure date 25% per person
Between 20 & 8 days before departure date 35% per person
Fewer than 8 days before departure date 50% per person
On day of departure 100% per person
Air Cancellation Penalties:

Within 64 days of departure date Airfare is fully non-refundable
